Softball Field Renovation - Dunlap, Illinois

TSG was brought it to this project because of the improper field drainage. This field was built by another contractor new in 2008, and it had been unusable since. While the field was installed with an automated irrigation system, it lacked the infield drainage necessary for consistent play.

We installed a proper infield drainage solution and then added 50 tons of select-grade infield mix. We laser-graded the field to allow for positive flow drainage. We also added clay to the batters box areas and pitcher’s mound area.

We finished by dragging the infield for the team. Now the team can use their field without interruption from rainfall.
